NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course  $100.00

Short Description : Teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and operating a pistol safely.



More Details: This course is at least 8-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination, and course completion certificate.     NRA HUNTER RIFLE CLINIC  $85.00 (1 CHILD FREE WITH ADULT ENROLLMENT)

The NRA Hunter Clinic Instructor Program, developed by NRA Hunter Services, is designed to help hunters expand their hunting knowledge and skills, and increase their awareness of safety and responsibility by using the teaching abilities of other hunters (NRA members and non-members alike). For years the NRA used the talents of many well known hunting authorities in the Hunter Clinic and Great American Hunters Tour Programs. This 6 hour course covers rifle set up, hunting tactics, and live fire!
(Shooters must pay range fees)

 

    NRA BIG GAME HUNTER CLINIC  $85.00 (1 CHILD FREE WITH ADULT ENROLLMENT)

The NRA Hunter Clinic Instructor Program, developed by NRA Hunter Services, is designed to help hunters expand their hunting knowledge and skills, and increase their awareness of safety and responsibility by using the teaching abilities of other hunters. Learn Hunting techniques and go to the field and apply knowledge learned. This 6 hour course includes game pursuit tactics and field applications. 
 
    CALIFORNIA SECURITY GUARD EXPOSED FIREARMS PERMIT $150.00
Security Guard/Private Investigator. This course covers 16 hours of California State mandated firearms training. This is a two day course. Day 1 Covers firearms legal topics, firearms safety, use of force. Day 2 live fire at the range. Range qualification in the afternoon.

CALIFORNIA HANDGUN SAFETY CERTIFICATE  $25.00

This is a self study course followed by and on site test. This certification is necessary to purchase a handgun in California. Testing is offered at the end of the handgun training classes.


NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course    $85.00
Short Description : Teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for the safe use of a rifle in target shooting.
More Details: This course is at least 14 hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot rifles. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; rifle parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest, prone, sitting, standing and kneeling positions; cleaning, and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Rifle Shooting Student Examination, and course completion certificate. NRA FIRST Steps Pistol Orientation  $55.00

Short Description : Firearm Instruction, Responsibility, and Safety Training — is the NRA’s response to the American public’s need for a firearm orientation program for new purchasers.



More Details: NRA FIRST Steps Pistol is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to one specific pistol action type for classes of four or fewer students. This course is at least three hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot a specific pistol action type. Students will learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; the particular pistol model parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, FIRST Steps Course completion certificate.
